Minister Janice Crittendon is the eldest child born to Andrea Shedrick in Daytona Beach, Florida. She is married to Mr. Timothy W. Crittendon of Haynesville, Louisiana. This “vessel of the Lord” attends Victory Praise and Worship Center where she is the Director of the Victorious Women’s Ministry, under the pastorate of Robert J. Whitaker, Sr.
Mrs. Crittendon graduated in 1993 from Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida. She is a decorated U.S. Army veteran that served the nation as a member of the Military Police Corps in Korea and stateside. After joining the military at the age 18; she surrendered her life to the Lord while stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. Soon afterward she was called into the “Master’s Service”, accepted his call, and received her minister’s license while at Fresh Anointing Baptist Church, St Robert, Missouri.
This “Messenger of God” has received extensive training from those that the Lord has placed in her life to guide her through many “dangers seen and unseen”, personal trials, and a generous portion of tribulations that has taught her about the goodness of the Lord. She is theologically and secularly astute as evidenced by recently graduating with honors, completing a “Bachelor of Science” degree in Business Administration, being ordained, and licensed to do the work of the ministry. Her ordination was officiated by Frank and Sandra Kelton of the “Jesus and Me Ministries” located in Covington, Georgia in 2012. In 2014 she was ordained as a Senior Minister by Pastors Robert J. & Mary E. Whitaker of Victory Praise and Worship Center in Minden, LA.
She has a tremendous love for small churches that has culminated in her establishing effective intercessory teams that emphasize the importance of keeping one’s focus on the vision of the ministry and the leaders that the Lord has assigned them to labor. She is currently employed as a housing director for a community services agency in Minden, Louisiana. This called, anointed, and chosen vessel of God has been fashioned and brought forth from the “Potter’s House” for such a time as this. God has chosen to make his ministers a “flame of fire.
